Summer trip to the US 2024

Summer 2024 is in the books and I'm just now getting this post up. It was a very fun and eventful June/July. Sadly, Kimball was not able to travel to the US with me this year, but he had his own adventures, climbing Mt Fuji not once but twice in the space of a few weeks!

I arrived June 26, and we kicked it off with a great "Girls Trip" to Boise for Ben and Violet's baby blessing, via Sun Valley!

Sun Valley was perfect weather during the few days we spent there. Cool in the mornings and evenings and just about right during the day, with lots of sun.

Our first night we discovered the chocolate shop and we each indulged in our favorite form of chocolate. Rayna got ice cream and Stephanie, Megan, and I each chose dipped chocolates in our favorite flavors.

Next morning we grabbed a quick pastry before heading out on a bike ride along the Big Wood River.

The best part about Girl's Trips is that you can jump from one fun activity to the next and no one complains. We got cleaned up from the bike ride and then took the tram up to the Roundhouse for a delicious lunch!

After a great lunch, we hopped on the chair lift for the second half of the ride to the top!

Next morning before we headed for Boise we had THE BEST BREAKFAST ever at Konditorei's!. We each got something different and then the waffles were to split between us. Too much!

Walking on the Boise Greenbelt near our hotel. Love that place!

Blue Sky Bagels - had to stop in our way out of town. What a way to end, with a yummy sandwich and then Krispy Kreams. Food was definitely the theme of our trip!

We blew into town on June 29, along with the Burton clan for the MAIN EVENT:

Erina Riza Ohsiek - baby blessing June 30, 2024 Star, Idaho

Back to Utah for a fun week with picnics at the park, bike rides, snakes, and the 4th of July!

Last stop - Hawaii!
