Below are some pictures from the Hansen's visit to Japan.
Room at the ryokan
Had a little tea party before dinner (Hans and dad went to a nearby convini and bought mugicha for us to use)
We had Horse sashimi - I wasn't sure if I would like it but it was very good!
Dessert
This was a private onsen you could use with just your family. Jennifer and I went in the morning while the others were still asleep. We could take a pic of this one since it was private. It has a nice view of the city.
Hotto!
So many varieties of chopstick rests. These are pricy ones - about $5 each.
Shopping street in Enoshima leading up the Sea Candle entrance.
This is pic of a Kite. Jennifer took it when we up in the Sea Candle and Enohsima
Jennifer and I both loved the glass "Boy's Day" kites. Neither of us bought them, but they were so cute!
Dad with his lactose pill in his "milkly soft cream". He swallows the pill as he eats the ice cream.
